About The Position

As a Room Attendant at the AC Hotel, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms to meet or exceed hotel/franchise standards. This involves meticulous attention to detail in cleaning, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and ensuring all aspects of the room, from windows to closets, are in pristine condition. You will also be expected to restock supplies, maintain an organized housekeeping cart, and act as a team player by assisting colleagues and training new staff. A key part of the role is being a housekeeping ambassador, offering a warm greeting and smile to guests, and acting as a safety and security agent by following established policies and procedures.

Requirements

Basic English communication skills.
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects (Medium work).
Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.
Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range.
Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

Maintain clean and attractive guestrooms, including making beds, changing linens, cleaning, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming.
Ensure windows are clean, towels are folded correctly, supplies are restocked, and closets are neat and clean with the appropriate number of hangers.
Keep housekeeping closet and cart area ready for use.
Assist coworkers, train new staff, and participate in department events.
Greet guests warmly and smile.
Follow hotel’s established safety and security policies and procedures.
Anticipate problems and call management as needed.
