About The Position

The Room Attendant cleans guestrooms to Holiday Inn quality standards and helps ensure guest satisfaction. The role includes providing friendly, courteous, and professional service while following applicable health regulations and Holiday Inn quality standards.

Requirements

Attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to perform job duties repetitively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
Significant bending is required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean guestrooms and ensure that required amenities and supplies are present.
Keep the housekeeping cart, linen, rooms, and equipment clean and in working order.
Respond positively and promptly to guest requests and support guest satisfaction with housekeeping services.
Work collaboratively to meet guest and department needs and assist other departments as needed.
Follow Holiday Inn's guest service recovery program.
Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with Holiday Inn, brand, and local, state, and federal regulations.
Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report maintenance issues.
Use housekeeping chemicals safely and follow procedures for guest or team-member incidents and hotel emergencies.
Plan, organize, and prioritize duties to produce the required volume of work.
Follow attendance, grooming, appearance, work-rule, and department standards; attend required department and hotel meetings.
Use equipment and supplies properly.
