About The Position

This position is responsible for cleaning guestrooms to B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group quality standards. The Room Attendant assists guests with friendly, courteous, and professional service while adhering to health regulations and Best Western quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction. The role requires flexibility to work some weekends and holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Housekeeping or laundry experience preferred.
Attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to perform duties repetitively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
Significant bending is required.

Responsibilities

Clean guest rooms and ensure they have the necessary amenities and supplies.
Keep carts, linen, rooms, and equipment clean and in working order.
Respond positively and promptly to guest requests and support guest satisfaction related to housekeeping services.
Work collaboratively to meet guest and department needs and assist other departments as necessary.
Follow Best Western’s guest service recovery program.
Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with brand and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Inspect rooms for maintenance needs and report maintenance issues.
Use housekeeping chemicals safely and follow procedures for guest or team-member incidents and hotel emergencies.
Plan, organize, and prioritize duties to produce the required volume of work.
Follow attendance, grooming, appearance, work-rule, and department-procedure standards; attend required department and hotel meetings.
Use equipment and supplies properly.
