About The Position

The Room Attendant cleans and services guest rooms to provide guests with a pleasant and comfortable experience. The role also includes cleaning public areas, maintaining a healthy and safe environment, reporting technical issues and maintenance needs, updating room statuses, and replenishing cleaning supplies. The position requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. A pre-employment background check is required. Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service, forward-facing, or other guest-related positions.
• Experience cleaning in a customer-focused environment.
• Pre-employment background check required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in the hospitality industry as a room attendant.
• Experience with the specific brand, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and respond to requests.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment in guest rooms.
• Change bed linen and make beds.
• Replace used towels and bathroom amenities such as shampoo and soap.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Vacuum carpets.
• Dust and polish furniture.
• Empty trash containers.
• Clean public areas, such as corridors.
• Report technical issues and maintenance needs.
• Update the status of guest rooms on the assignment board.
• Restock the cleaning cart and/or supplies.
• Follow all health and safety rules.
• Attend meetings as required.
