About The Position

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests. The position is at Residence Inn Cherry Hill in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Ability to stand for the entire shift.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
Complete pre-cleaning duties, including preparing guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for the housekeeping cart.
Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
Keep hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
Restock the housekeeping cleaning cart for the next day's use.
Replenish chemical bottles.
Report missing room items, such as irons, ironing boards, and hair dryers, to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
Report maintenance repairs immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
Handle lost-and-found items according to standards.
Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
