About The Position
The Room Attendant maintains clean, tidy, and inviting guest rooms at The Mills House in Charleston, South Carolina. This role contributes to guest comfort and satisfaction by preparing rooms to high standards, replenishing supplies, and providing attentive, professional service. The position is part of the hotel’s housekeeping team and operates in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Requirements
- Attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to high standards, with attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Make beds, change linens, and ensure rooms are invitingly presented.
- Replenish amenities, towels, and other supplies as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
- Vacuum and clean carpets and floors.
- Report maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
- Follow established health and safety protocols.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
