About The Position

King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a full-time Room Attendant to help create memorable guest experiences and share the aloha spirit. The role involves routine cleaning and servicing of guest accommodations, including rooms, suites, bathrooms, lanais, breakfast bars, and other areas. Work is generally performed with little or no direct supervision and is subject to inspection by supervisors. Management may add or change duties at any time.

One year of previous experience is preferred.
Ability to communicate in English with guests, management, and fellow team members so they can understand.

Responsibilities

Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
Clean guest rooms to company standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
Follow company policy for room amenities.
Maintain complete security of the master room key.
Report maintenance items requiring immediate attention.
Assist with laundry as needed.
Report missing or found articles and damage to Housekeeping management.
Assist other team members and departments to support the overall performance of the department and hotel.
Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
