About The Position

As a Room Attendant, you’ll help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay for every guest. You’ll keep guest rooms and assigned areas to Company standards while working efficiently and safely as part of the Housekeeping team. The role includes cleaning and preparing rooms, restocking amenities, reporting issues and found belongings, following security and lost-and-found procedures, assisting with laundry and other Housekeeping duties, and communicating courteously with guests and colleagues. Success means delivering clean, guest-ready rooms while maintaining quality, safety, security, dependability, and attention to detail.

• Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and use good judgment.

• Ability to follow safety, security, and lost-and-found procedures.
• Ability to work with approved cleaning agents.
• Ability to frequently walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, twist, and lift or carry up to 20 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms to Company standards.
• Make beds, dust, vacuum, clean bathrooms, wipe surfaces and walls, and complete other room-cleaning tasks.
• Complete rooms efficiently within established time guidelines while maintaining quality.
• Restock guest room amenities according to Company standards.
• Report maintenance issues or items requiring immediate attention.
• Report damage, missing items, or guest belongings found in rooms to the appropriate manager.
• Follow all lost-and-found procedures.
• Maintain security of assigned master room keys and return them at the end of each shift.
• Assist with laundry and other Housekeeping duties as needed.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with guests, managers, and fellow team members.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized Housekeeping environment.
• Support other team members and hotel departments as needed.
