About The Position

The Room Attendant cleans guest rooms and responds to guest requests to support outstanding guest service and satisfaction. The role also helps maintain the cleanliness of public and food service areas, swimming pool and exercise areas, and supports housekeeping operations by managing linens and supplies and reporting maintenance needs. Associates are expected to wear the proper uniform and nametag in accordance with appearance standards and perform other duties they are capable of performing as assigned.

Requirements

• One year of previous hotel housekeeping experience is requested.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest suites, including bathrooms; change bed linens daily or according to hotel policy; dust and vacuum; and complete other daily special projects.
• Maintain housekeeping compliance in the Guest Satisfaction Scores program.
• Respond to guests’ special needs and requests.
• Support guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attention to guest needs.
• Unload trash from housekeeping carts.
• Stock linen and supplies in linen rooms or housekeeping carts.
• Unload soiled linen from carts and transport it to the laundry.
• Report needed repairs to maintenance.
• Clean restrooms, public spaces, and food service areas.
• Sweep and wax floors and dispose of refuse.
• Maintain cleanliness of swimming pool and exercise areas.
• Clean hotel windows and mirrors.
• Wear the proper uniform and nametag in accordance with appearance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned, when capable.
