About The Position

Cambria Hotel LAX/El Segundo is seeking an experienced Room Attendant to clean guest rooms and respond to guest requests, supporting the hotel’s efforts to deliver outstanding guest service and satisfaction. The role is part of the property team and contributes to guest experiences and hotel operations.

Requirements

• One year of previous hotel housekeeping experience is requested.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest suites, including bathrooms; change bed linen daily or according to hotel policy; dust and vacuum; and complete other assigned daily projects.
• Maintain housekeeping compliance with the Guest Satisfaction Scores program.
• Respond to guests’ special needs and requests.
• Promote guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attention to guest needs.
• Unload trash from housekeeping carts.
• Stock linen and supplies in linen rooms or housekeeping carts.
• Unload soiled linen from carts and transport it to the laundry.
• Report repairs needed to maintenance.
• Clean restrooms, public spaces, and food service areas.
• Sweep, wax, and dispose of refuse.
• Maintain cleanliness of swimming pool and exercise areas.
• Clean hotel windows and mirrors.
• Wear the proper uniform and nametag on the right side of the uniform in accordance with appearance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned that the associate is capable of performing.
