About The Position

AHC Hospitality represents a diverse array of hotels, restaurants, and resorts, with team members providing exceptional experiences that delight guests at every touchpoint. This is a full-time position with 2nd shift hours, starting around 1pm, and requires weekend availability. The role focuses on ensuring the 4 Diamond cleanliness of each guest room, requiring time management, flexibility with daily operations, and excellent guest communication. The goal is to ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining high cleanliness standards and going above and beyond for guest requests.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all daily responsibilities/cleaning task list.
  • Complete 12 vacant dirty rooms within an 8-hour shift, including 12 showers, 12 tubs, 12 toilets, and 12-24 beds.
  • Use designated chemicals to clean assigned areas.
  • Work independently and follow directions from supervisors.
  • Complete tasks according to established procedures.
  • Meet guest satisfaction by cleaning at an 86% cleanliness standard.
  • Attend departmental meetings.
  • Assist guests and go above and beyond to provide guest service.
  • Read and understand memos pertaining to the housekeeping department.
  • Timely clean and re-stock all areas of the guest room per established quality standards using a vacuum, sticky roll, and department-issued cleaning chemicals.
  • Clean checkouts at a 35-minute per room pace.
  • Clean stayovers at a 15-minute per room pace.
  • Address guest complaints and/or requests with professionalism and patience within a ten-minute timeframe.
  • Accurately follow the workflow provided by supervisors, expediters, and devices to complete daily assignments and production standards, which can range from 12 up to 19 rooms per 8-hour shift.
  • Report maintenance issues in rooms through the use of the issued device.
  • Move and arrange furniture per established standards.
  • Keep cart well-stocked, tidy, and clear of unapproved items at all times.
  • Communicate effectively and timely with floor supervisors and housemen on needs and progress.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by inspectors, supervisors, or managers.
  • Clean all guest rooms on daily assignment within the allotted time and within established quality standards.
  • Make beds per established quality standards.
  • Clean all areas of bathrooms per established quality standards.
  • Complete daily projects as assigned.
  • Use and maintain equipment properly per established safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain assigned area including hallways, windows, elevator landings, and guest rooms per established safety and quality standards.
  • Communicate daily with team leaders, supervisors, housemen, and managers.
  • Report all damages to team leaders, supervisors, or managers.
  • Report and hand over personal property left by guests.
  • Use all chemicals properly and safely as required by product safety labels and OSHA standards.
  • Perform deep cleaning as assigned per established quality standards.
  • Maintain linen properly and per established quality standards.
  • Maintain guest rooms to standards set by management.
  • Maintain hotel assets at all times.
  • Report guest violations of established policies.
  • Safely maneuver and control housekeeping cart, which requires exerting 50 lbs. of force.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.
