We are seeking a Guest Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, welcoming, and comfortable stay while supporting the overall success of the hotel. Position Summary The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining guest rooms and assigned areas of the hotel according to Aloft and Marriott standards. This position ensures guest rooms are clean, organized, and properly prepared while providing thoughtful service and responding to guest needs. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality behind the scenes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to excellent guest service.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required as a condition of employment.
  • Additional screening requirements may apply based on the position.
  • Must comply with hotel uniform, grooming, and professional appearance standards.
  • Must demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and commitment to guest satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel, housekeeping, hospitality, or cleaning experience.
  • Experience working in a branded hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards.
  • Make beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and sanitize guest room areas.
  • Replenish linens, towels, amenities, and guest supplies as needed.
  • Perform deep cleaning projects and assigned housekeeping tasks.
  • Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damage, and maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and equipment in an organized manner.
  • Remove trash and recyclables from guest rooms and assigned areas.
  • Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Communicate maintenance concerns and complete work orders as needed.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
  • Maintain proper uniform, grooming, and professional appearance standards.
  • Support housekeeping operations and team members to ensure efficient hotel operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
