The Operations Supervisor plays a key role in supporting daily hotel operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This position provides hands-on leadership and operational support across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other hotel departments. The Operations Supervisor serves as a resource for associates, assists with operational execution, supports service recovery, and helps maintain Marriott brand standards throughout the property.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous hospitality, hotel, or customer service leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel supervisory or Manager on Duty experience.
  • Marriott brand experience.
  • Experience in Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, or hotel operations.
  • Experience with Lightspeed PMS or comparable property management systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide visible leadership and support throughout the hotel.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty when assigned, responding to guest concerns and operational needs.
  • Assist Front Office operations including guest arrivals, departures, requests, and service recovery.
  • Monitor daily hotel operations to ensure cleanliness, safety, and service standards are maintained.
  • Support Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and other departments as needed.
  • Communicate guest concerns, maintenance needs, and operational updates to appropriate leaders.
  • Coach and support associates to deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Assist with associate training, onboarding, and reinforcement of hotel procedures.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist with scheduling, timecard review, and administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Support inventory management, supply tracking, and operational processes.
  • Conduct routine property inspections and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with emergency response procedures and incident reporting.
  • Maintain compliance with Marriott brand standards, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Must comply with hotel uniform, grooming, and professional behavior standards.
  • Must be willing to support all departments as operational needs require.
