About The Position
Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Room Attendant for the Hilton Garden Inn Rockford. The role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and public areas to company standards, ensuring rooms are supplied with clean linens and guest amenities, and following hotel safety, security, and lost-and-found procedures. The position is tipped eligible. Compensation and benefits details are discussed during the interview process. The hiring process may include interviews, a drug screen, background and reference checks, and a potential employment assessment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to multitask.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to exceed guest expectations.
- Knowledge of cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize rooms and public areas to company-mandated standards.
- Ensure rooms have clean linen, bedding, and towels.
- Follow hotel safety and security procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of the hotel property, staff, services, operating hours, and surrounding area.
- Ensure rooms are stocked with soap, tissues, drinking glasses, and other supplies.
- Identify guest items left behind and report them according to hotel lost-and-found procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
