About The Position

The Room Attendant cleans and maintains assigned guest rooms at The Duniway Portland, a Hilton Hotel, and helps deliver memorable guest experiences through attentive hospitality. The hotel is a boutique property with 327 guestrooms and modern, flexible meeting spaces. The role is union-represented; available shifts are assigned in accordance with seniority, the union contract, and business levels. Candidates must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. AM shifts are 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. on weekdays and 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on weekends. PM shifts are 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is identified as ideal.
• Schedule flexibility; candidates must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrate Hilton’s stated values: hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency and discipline.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy assigned guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and completing deep-cleaning tasks as needed.
• Replace bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed.
• Stock, maintain, and transport the housekeeping supply cart daily.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
