Full-Time Room Attendant - Courtyard by Marriott
About The Position
High Hotels LTD is hiring a full-time Room Attendant at the Courtyard by Marriott Lancaster in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Room Attendant performs routine housekeeping duties to meet the hotel’s and brand’s cleanliness and service standards, helping provide exceptional guest experiences by keeping guest rooms and common areas clean and maintained. Team members may work in different areas of the housekeeping department, including laundry, common-area cleaning, and room cleaning. The position’s weekday shifts start at 8:00 AM, with end times varying from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Weekend shifts start at 9:00 AM and may extend until 7:00 PM. Hours may vary with operational needs, and weekend shifts receive a $1-per-hour premium. The starting rate is $17.33 per hour, with potential increases based on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to support any High Hotels, Ltd. property in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and common areas according to brand standards and within the allotted time.
- Vacuum carpets and furniture.
- Clean and dust furniture.
- Clean suite kitchenettes and wash dishes.
- Change bed linens.
- Clean guest-room bathrooms.
- Clean high-touch hotel areas to meet brand COVID-19 cleaning standards.
- Assist in the laundry room by washing, drying, folding, and sorting laundry.
- Maintain the linen cart and keep supplies neatly organized.
- Ensure the security of guest rooms and protect guest privacy.
