About The Position

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms and public areas while maintaining Hyatt brand standards and ensuring guests have a clean, safe, and comfortable stay. The position requires attention to detail, reliability, efficiency, and a commitment to quality. The employer welcomes candidates without hotel housekeeping experience and provides training.

Requirements

• Dependable and punctual, hardworking and self-motivated, organized, team-focused, and committed to high cleanliness standards.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, cleaning, custodial, or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to Hyatt brand standards.
• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities.
• Clean bathrooms, mirrors, fixtures, floors, and guestroom surfaces.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Inspect guestrooms for cleanliness, presentation, and functionality.
• Ensure guestrooms are guest-ready and meet hotel quality expectations.
• Promptly report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and room deficiencies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and workspaces.
• Follow hotel cleanliness, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Respond politely to guest requests and communicate needs to appropriate departments.
• Work with housekeeping team members and other hotel departments.
• Assist with special projects, deep cleaning, and public area cleaning as assigned.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards to support the hotel's success.
