About The Position
Roofmart, Canada’s National distributor for Exterior Building Supply for Roofing, Siding, Metal and Building Envelope, is looking for Enthusiastic, Driven, Outside of the Box Thinkers to help us grow our business. This role involves safely loading bundles of shingles and related products to the roof, as well as safely loading, unloading, moving, shipping, and receiving product and inventory.
Requirements
- Requires physical strength/stamina and the ability to work at heights.
- Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
- Strong customer service skills
- Authorized to work in Canada
Nice To Haves
- Fall Protection/Working at Heights training
- Valid Forklift License
- Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience
- Knowledge of the roofing industry
Responsibilities
- Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products
- Working closely and co-operatively with driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product
- Handling material by hand and with use of appropriate equipment
- Safely loading, unloading, moving, shipping and receiving product and inventory
- Ensuring orders are picked correctly, tagged and double checked
- Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the store and yard
- Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
- Other duties as required
