About The Position
Plasman is a leading global automotive and manufacturing company with several locations across North America and Europe. They are seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join their Materials team. This position offers a compensation of $27.49 hourly, dependent on skills and experience. This posting is for an existing, currently vacant position within Plasman.
Requirements
- Must possess an excellent working knowledge of our products and processes
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and be licensed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment
- Ability to work effectively with others in addition to working well in unsupervised situations
- Must be physically capable of performing essential duties of the role, including lift weight ranging from 25 to 50 lbs.
- Must have ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
- Performance and attendance records in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Organizing and maintaining returnable warehouse inventories
- Unloading trucks
- Receiving materials and stock and ensuring attached paperwork is complete and accurate
- Organizing and maintaining warehouse inventories
- Staging parts prior to loading truck
- Loading shipments ensuring that shipment matches load sheet
- Stocking shelves
- Maintain and promote good housekeeping
- Provide a team atmosphere and promote a positive work ethic
- Any other duties as assigned by Materials Supervisor
