About The Position

Shamrock Roofing & Construction is hiring a Roofing Repair Technician for residential roofing repairs and maintenance. The role involves identifying leaks, storm damage, and wear; repairing roofs; installing roofing materials; coordinating repair jobs with the service team; explaining findings and options to homeowners; and documenting work, materials, and time. This is a full-time position with a regular Monday–Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional Saturdays as needed. The company describes itself as family-owned and growing, with opportunities to grow and promotion from within. The position is hiring now, with a desired start as soon as possible. New hires complete a 90-day probationary period. Offers are contingent on passing background and Motor Vehicle Record checks and meeting company driving standards.

Requirements

Roofing repair and maintenance experience.
Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety practices.
Comfort using hand tools and basic equipment.
Good communication skills and a friendly attitude with customers.
Ability to work independently or with a team.
Basic computer or smartphone skills for job records.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights and in tight spaces, and stand, walk, bend, and kneel for long periods.
Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Identify leaks, storm damage, and wear on residential roofs.
Repair roofs by replacing shingles, fixing flashing, sealing leaks, and performing general maintenance.
Install new roofing materials according to safety and quality standards.
Work with the service team to schedule and prioritize repair jobs.
Explain findings and available options to homeowners.
Maintain clear records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on the job.
