About The Position

3MG Roofing & Solar is seeking an experienced Lead Roofing Repair Technician to work from the Winter Park office and serve the Central Florida area, with occasional travel to other offices. The position involves diagnosing and repairing roofing issues, completing multiple daily service calls, and ensuring high-quality workmanship on residential and commercial properties. The technician will work independently while communicating clearly with the Service Manager. This is a full-time, hourly position paying $25–$30 per hour, based on experience, with the opportunity to earn overtime. The role includes routine commercial roof inspections and preventative maintenance, investigation and repair of leaks, documentation of each job, and customer service at job sites.

Requirements

Commercial roofing experience.
Experience with TPO, metal, tile, and shingle roofing.
Valid driver's license.
Must pass 3MG Insurance requirements to drive a company vehicle.
Strong attention to detail and reporting experience.
Ability to travel to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on commercial roofing to identify potential issues and ensure proper functionality.
Complete multiple scheduled service calls each day.
Review the scope of work, investigate leaks, solve problems, and report back to the Service Manager.
Take before, during, and after photos for every job.
Report to the Service Manager during and after each job.
Complete work in a timely manner while maintaining quality to reduce callbacks.
Provide excellent customer service at job sites.
