About The Position
The Roofing Estimator is responsible for managing relationships with suppliers, equipment vendors, and sub-contractors. This role involves creating and overseeing cost monitoring processes on projects, soliciting and maintaining communications with sub-contractors, suppliers, and vendors. A thorough understanding of the project scope is required to consider all related components of cost, time, and management services for developing a bid package.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year commercial/residential roof experience.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Must be able to pass drug screening test.
- Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Prepare bids used by management to solicit work and for planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
- Transmit quotes, bid documentations, and responses to management and subcontractors.
- Analyze job plans and specifications to determine project cost, completion time, and revenue generation.
- Consider factors such as labor, materials, equipment and equipment rentals, facility costs, fixed and variable company costs, required permits and/or licenses, and financial and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform assigned tasks daily with strong attention to detail.
- Work with others.
- Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
- Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
