About The Position

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a Roll Stock Trucker to safely and efficiently move product from trucks to the staging area and support order picking, staging, and truck loading and unloading. The role includes operating and inspecting material-handling equipment, following trailer lockout/tag-out procedures, maintaining inventory integrity, and keeping the work area clean and safe. Candidates must be willing to work any shift and be certified as an industrial driver or able to obtain certification in a timely manner.

The starting rate is $22.66 per hour. The position offers an annual bonus based on plant performance metrics, two weeks of paid vacation per calendar year (prorated in the initial year based on hire date), paid holidays, and access to benefit coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Willingness to work any shift.
• Certified industrial driver or ability to obtain certification in a timely manner.
• Ability to safely operate a propane-powered forklift.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Move product from trucks to the staging area safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily safety inspections of the clamp truck and maintain it and the work environment in a clean and safe condition.
• Perform lockout/tag-out procedures on trailers.
• Maintain good housekeeping and manufacturing practices.
• Pick and stage orders and load and unload trucks.
• Maintain inventory integrity through proper handling and storage.
