About The Position

Waste Connections is seeking a CDL Route Driver to safely deliver dumpster containers to customers in Justin, Texas. The role provides trash and disposal services to the local community and involves operating a commercial CDL truck in residential, construction, and commercial environments. Drivers determine suitable dumpster drop-off locations, operate hydraulic hand controls, secure and cover loads, and provide courteous customer service. The work is performed year-round in varied weather and environments, sometimes around heavy diesel equipment and dirty conditions.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Satisfactory driving record.
Class A or Class B CDL.
Ability to work Monday through any day of the week, with starts as early as midnight.
Physically comfortable with the demands of the job, including strenuous activity and handling objects over 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial CDL truck in residential, construction, and commercial environments.
Determine a convenient dumpster drop-off location while avoiding property damage.
Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and load dumpsters on and off the truck.
Secure and cover dumpster loads and account for weight shift before departing.
Read route sheets and service the customers listed or assigned by the dispatcher.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Interact courteously with customers.
Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
