About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roll Off Truck Driver to join the team in Milledgeville, Georgia. The driver operates roll off trucks to transport and deliver containers to various job sites, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials. The position includes vehicle and equipment inspections, communication with dispatchers, customers, and team members, and maintaining delivery, pickup, and inspection records. It also involves general yard duties and equipment maintenance as needed.

The work takes place outdoors in various weather conditions. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required depending on project needs.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B or higher driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Valid Medical Card.
• Minimum of 1 year of CDL experience.
• Ability to safely operate and maneuver large vehicles in various environments.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and climbing.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating roll off trucks or similar heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate roll off trucks to pick up, transport, and deliver containers to designated locations.
• Load and unload containers safely and efficiently using truck equipment.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment daily, ensure they are in proper working condition, and report maintenance needs.
• Follow safety protocols and traffic laws while operating the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle inspections.
• Assist with general yard duties and equipment maintenance as needed.
