About The Position

Waste Connections is hiring a Roll-Off Garbage Truck Driver to join their team in Okahumpka, FL. The role involves safely operating a Roll-Off Garbage Truck, delivering and removing containers, transporting waste, performing daily vehicle inspections, and maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. Requirements

Valid Class A or Class B CDL
Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience
Previous Roll-Off experience required
Ability to safely operate hydraulic equipment
Clean driving record
Stable work history
Strong commitment to safety and customer service
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Drivers must be able to operate BOTH manual and automatic transmission trucks.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Roll-Off Garbage Truck on assigned routes
Read route sheets and follow dispatcher instructions
Deliver and remove containers at customer locations
Transport and dispose of waste at designated facilities
Perform daily vehicle inspections, including fluids, tires, and safety equipment
Operate hydraulic systems and controls safely
Maintain a clean and safe vehicle
Provide excellent customer service while representing Waste Connections professionally
