About The Position

We are seeking Role Players to support a military tactical training exercise. The role involves acting as Opposing Force (OPFOR) and adhering strictly to script for the scenario. Role Players will be required to wear appropriate clothing and costuming, operate various military weapons systems (including those firing marking cartridges, paintball, and blank ammunition), and engage with marking cartridge weapons. Physical fitness is essential, with no limitations that would preclude working in austere environments or during darkness. Role Players must be familiar with basic weapons handling and safety, and be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods, including being searched by trainees. They should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition while wearing safety equipment (full-face helmet, throat guard, groin guard).

Requirements

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Be a US Citizen and can provide proof.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Be physically fit with no physical limitations or pre-existing medical conditions that would preclude working in an austere environment and during the hours of darkness.
  • Be familiar with basic weapons handling, including safety.
  • Be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods.
  • Be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods of time with and without restraints.
  • Be able to wear safety equipment consisting of a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.

Nice To Haves

  • Role Player with Military/Law Enforcement experience/background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Stay on script for the scenario without adlibbing or changing the scope of the scenario.
  • Wear clothing, including costuming and headgear, appropriate to the scenario.
  • Operate various military weapons systems and fire marking cartridge weapons, paintball type weapons systems, and blank ammunition after instruction.
  • Act as Opposing Force (OPFOR), including engaging with marking cartridge weapons.
  • Be physically fit with no physical limitations or pre-existing medical conditions that would preclude working in an austere environment and during the hours of darkness.
  • Be familiar with basic weapons handling, including safety.
  • Be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods.
  • Be comfortable with trainees frisking and searching them while restrained.
  • Be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods of time with and without restraints.
  • Participate in scenario training where they should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition (Simmunitions, UTM, or paintballs) while wearing safety equipment.
  • Wear safety equipment consisting of a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.

Benefits

  • Pay Rate: $20/hour
  • $320 flat rate incentive for completion of a full, no-default contract, even if fewer than 16 hours worked
