About The Position

Seeking Role Players (RPs) to act as Opposing Force (OPFOR) for scenario training in Macon, GA. The training will take place over 3 days, from July 20th to 22nd. RPs will be part of a team of 22 and will be paid a flat rate of $720 for successful completion of the contract, with an hourly rate of $20.00. This role requires adherence to scripts, willingness to wear costumes, operation of various military weapons systems (including firing marking cartridges, paintball, and blank ammunition), and acting as OPFOR. Physical fitness is essential, with no limitations that would prevent working in austere environments or during nighttime hours. RPs must be familiar with basic weapons handling and safety, be able to be restrained for prolonged periods, and comfortable with being searched while restrained. They must also be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods, participate in training where they will be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition while wearing safety equipment, and wear protective gear including a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.

Requirements

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Be a US Citizen and can provide proof.
  • Have a valid driver's license.

  • Role Player with Military/Law Enforcement experience/background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Stay on script for the scenario without adlibbing or changing the scope of the scenario.
  • Wear clothing including costuming and headgear appropriate to the scenario training.
  • Operate various military weapons systems and fire marking cartridge weapons, paintball type weapons systems, and blank ammunition after being instructed on safe use.
  • Act as Opposing Force (OPFOR) including being engaged with marking cartridge weapons.
  • Be physically fit with no physical limitations or preexisting medical conditions that would preclude working in an austere environment and during hours of darkness.
  • Be familiar with basic weapons handling including safety.
  • Be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods of time.
  • Be comfortable with having trainees frisk and search them while they are restrained.
  • Be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods of time with and without restraints.
  • Participate in scenario training where they should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition (Simmunitions, UTM, or paintballs) while wearing safety equipment (personal protective equipment).
  • Wear safety equipment consisting of a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.
