About The Position

This position is in the Gas Engine – Rod Department and involves a highly repetitive process that may require working with precise CNC machines. The role focuses on following a standard sequence to hone or machine connecting rod bores to the correct size. The ideal candidate will possess moderate attention to detail and a strong motivation to consistently produce quality products. This is a hands-on role where associates are expected to move between workstations and machines to ensure a continuous flow of quality products to customers.

Requirements

Moderate attention to detail
Motivation to achieve a quality product every time
The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs
The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
The ability to use handheld tools such as drills, torque arms, gauges

Responsibilities

Follow a standard sequence to hone or machine connecting rod bores to the correct size
Move between workstations and machines to keep quality product flowing to the customer
