Position Summary Responsible for setting up all honing machines according to the set-up instructions and specifications.
Requirements
- Highs school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 Years manufacturing experience
- 2-5 Years machine operating experience
- Some computer knowledge
- Basic reading and writing skills in English
- Basic math skills or ability to use a calculator
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions in English
- Able to stay on task for long periods of time
Responsibilities
- Read set up instructions and set up all honing machines
- Expert knowledge of honing machine
- Follow honing process best practice
- Read target area control tolerance
- Read honing specifications of drawing or blueprint
- Assist with water and oil changes on machines
- Train new and current employees
- Troubleshoot machine and process issues
