About The Position

OVERVIEW (Archer Wright JV) is currently seeking a Rodman for the (TSENC/ I-26 Downtown Connector), in (Asheville, NC). The Rodman will perform field layout and measurements for grade stakes and mark reference points as instructed by Instrument Engineer or Surveyor. Our employees are built to succeed. DESCRIPCIÓN GENERAL (Archer Wright JV) está buscando actualmente un Rodman para el (TSENC / I-26 Downtown Connector), en la Cuidad de (Asheville, NC). Requirements

• 1 year of construction experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

• Complete field surveying tasks such as measurement of distance for setting stakes
• May assist Surveyor in establishing elevation points and other field layout
• Provide care to survey equipment specifically chain and rod used for placing stakes
• May perform other related duties as required
