Requirements

Technical knowledge and ability to read instructions, service manuals, specifications, drawings etc.
Ability in using tools (Micrometers, installation tools, torque wrenches, power tools, bore gauges) and test equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good understanding of quality control procedures
Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Responsibilities

Read and follow instructions and established procedures.
Collect all materials and tools needed to complete the procedure.
Use precision tools to measure and assist in the machining of the engine block using power, manual tools and precision machining equipment.
Recognize the correct orientation of complex components.
Ensure that all engine blocks are machined to the correct value.
Read and set up bore gauges.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Keep records of production measurements, quantities, and time.
Report issues, malfunction, or defective components.
Maintain a “Tour Ready” work environment.
