The ROC Technician will monitor and operate over 450 air separation facilities across the U.S. and Canada from a centralized control room environment. This role involves responding to alarms, troubleshooting plant issues remotely, and communicating effectively to resolve operational concerns in real time. The technician will start up and shut down air separation equipment to meet product demand while maintaining peak efficiency and operational reliability. They will analyze data from plant control systems and make informed decisions on appropriate actions to maintain safe and efficient operations. Additionally, the role requires managing internal and external communication, including phone calls, emails, and computer-based logbooks, to ensure accurate reporting and coordination. The technician must maintain strict adherence to safety policies, procedures, and compliance requirements at all times while working across up to 16 monitors. The position requires working a 12-hour rotating shift schedule with flexibility for shift changes, overtime, and coverage as needed. Collaboration as a team player is essential, with support for up to 10% travel for on-site facility support and troubleshooting activities.
