About The Position

The Robot Technician develops automation and robot concepts and programs for existing production equipment, including retrofitting and optimization, as well as for new equipment. The role verifies, optimizes, and implements concepts in coordination with relevant interfaces, and plans and conducts program launches with the appropriate departments, including testing. The technician communicates changes proactively, develops training and information materials, and trains relevant personnel. The role also programs systems and advises on critical breakdowns or disturbances. For SPS work, the technician develops concepts for equipment interlinking, communications, and data exchange with subordinate systems, and supports activities assigned by the direct supervisor, including those generated by Global Skill Matrix (ViFlow).

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and programs for automation and robots used with existing production equipment, including retrofitting and optimization, and with new production equipment.
• Verify and optimize concepts, including in light of technical innovations, and implement them in alignment with relevant interfaces.
• Plan and conduct program launches in alignment with relevant departments, including testing.
• Proactively communicate changes.
• Develop information and training materials and train relevant personnel.
• Program systems and advise on critical breakdowns or disturbances.
• For SPS work, develop concepts for interlinking and communication between equipment and data exchange with subordinate systems.
