About The Position

The Robot Technician provides daily operational support for automated production lines by ensuring equipment functions properly. The role troubleshoots equipment issues, makes equipment and program changes as needed, and performs preventive and repair maintenance on assigned automated equipment. The position works with operations on daily problem-solving and improvement projects, maintains dotted-line communication and responsibility to the line supervisor, and performs other assigned projects as needed.

The schedule is second shift, Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Work takes place in a warehouse and shop environment, generally indoors but sometimes outdoors, with potentially dirty, dusty, or confining work areas. The role involves shop noise and exposure to irritating fumes, vapors, and solutions controlled to OSHA standards.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of robotic technician experience.
• Experience using multiple hand tools.
• Experience building, maintaining, testing, and repairing robotics.
• Background in hardware, electronics, and circuitry.
• Comfort working in a warehouse environment.
• Comfort working with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Robotic programming experience.
• Technical certification or technical degree.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations of all automated cells.
• Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment as needed.
• Make equipment and program modifications as requested by operations.
