About The Position

Kodland is hiring a freelance tutor to teach children and teenagers Roblox game design. Tutors deliver interactive lessons using ready-to-teach materials, guiding students as they create Roblox games and other digital projects while building confidence in coding. Roblox Studio experience is not required; Kodland provides training and onboarding.

This is a fully remote role. Tutors must be available for at least 10 hours per week during the specified weekday and weekend teaching windows in Sydney or Singapore time. The role also includes training, feedback, and opportunities to connect with Kodland’s global tutor community. Income depends on availability and the number of classes taught, with additional performance-based bonuses.

Requirements

• Programming knowledge; Python is preferred.
• STEM degree.
• Passion for teaching children and teenagers.
• Fluent English (C1).
• Availability for at least 10 hours per week: weekdays 4 pm–10 pm and weekends 10 am–8 pm, in Sydney or Singapore time.
• Stable internet connection of at least 20 Mbps, a webcam, a headset, and a quiet workspace.
• Willingness to learn; Roblox Studio training and full onboarding are provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive Roblox Game Design lessons using ready-to-teach materials.
• Guide students in creating Roblox games and digital projects and help build their confidence in coding.
• Track student progress, celebrate achievements, and provide guidance throughout their learning journey.
• Share lesson feedback and contribute ideas to improve the learning experience.
• Participate in mock lessons, training, and community events.
• Develop teaching skills with support from experienced Kodland mentors.
