Requirements

• One year as a Roadway Programs Technician 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment, and an Associate's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or closely related program
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training
• Possession of a current Class C driver's license which is not under suspension
• Must meet the PA residency requirement
• Must be able to perform essential job functions

Responsibilities

• Conduct pavement deflection and profile testing using specialized equipment
• Examine output files and prepare collected information for processing
• Perform scheduled upkeep and ensure all testing tools meet required standards
• Assist with planning and implementing safe and efficient testing operations
• Maintain accurate logs of test locations, distances, and related information
• Provide guidance to personnel and assist with resolving field testing challenges
