About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Roadway Engineering Intern to join their Critical Infrastructure team. This role is part of a team that has designed and delivered critical infrastructure for over 80 years, working in collaborative teams to plan, design, build, and modernize infrastructure. Responsibilities

Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Assist with the geometric design of highways and roadways, including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, superelevation diagrams, gore details, vertical clearance calculations, and grading plans.
Perform material quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and field surveys as required.
Use design software and CAE/CAD applications to develop and implement project designs.
Provide technical guidance and input to CAD drafters, designers, and other engineers working on the project team.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support project delivery.
