About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Roadway Design Engineering Intern to join our Novi, MI office. This role involves gathering, logging, and summarizing field notes or other data for technical studies or projects. The intern will establish and maintain records or files of technical data or documents, perform mathematical calculations, and execute various routine tasks in Bentley OpenRoads Designer. Additionally, the intern will assist in the preparation of graphic displays and presentation materials, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Must have completed 50 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• Basic understanding of transportation engineering principles and design.
• Computation, math skills and drafting/CAD ability are generally required.
• Computer skills required to enter data and information in spreadsheets or databases.

• Preference to applicants who have CAD/OpenRoads Designer experience.
