About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Roadway Engineering Intern to join our Dallas, Texas office. Your Role Provide administrative and operations support to Roadway Engineering staff. Assist engineers with Roadway plan production tasks. Perform simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions. Coordinates operation within the organization unit to ensure consistency with policies and procedures. Must have good computer skills and be able to utilize standard office software.

Requirements

• Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• Good computer skills and be able to utilize standard office software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Interest in transportation and roadway design with a willingness to learn engineering standards and best practices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Willingness to learn engineering design software.
