About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Roadway Engineering Intern to join our Dallas, Texas office. This role will provide administrative and operations support to Roadway Engineering staff, assist engineers with Roadway plan production tasks, and perform simple drafting and CAD assignments following detailed instructions. The intern will also coordinate operations within the organization unit to ensure consistency with policies and procedures and must have good computer skills and be able to utilize standard office software.

Requirements

• Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and willingness to learn engineering design software.
• Interest in transportation and roadway design with a willingness to learn engineering standards and best practices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
