About The Position
The RN works in the Madison Hospital Progressive Care Unit on a PRN, third-shift schedule. The nurse identifies patient needs and priorities through assessment, plans and delegates care based on patient needs, and evaluates patients’ responses and progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for the outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Alabama licensure.
- BLS certification required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
- ACLS certification within one year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Nursing experience is preferred; new graduates are accepted.
