About The Position

The RN works in the Madison Hospital Progressive Care Unit and identifies patient needs and priorities through assessment. The RN plans and delegates care based on patient needs, evaluates patients’ responses to care and progress toward expected outcomes, and is accountable for patient-care outcomes during the assigned shift. This is a PRN, third-shift position.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Alabama nursing licensure.
BLS certification required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
ACLS certification required within one year of hire.

Nice To Haves

Nursing experience is preferred; new graduates are accepted.

Responsibilities

Assess patients to identify care needs and priorities.
