About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates the care activities of assigned staff to provide quality nursing care. This is a PRN day-shift position in the Progressive Care Unit, with hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced certification in the specialty field, if applicable.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Hospital nursing experience preferred.
