About The Position

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse works within the organization’s policies and procedures, demonstrates professional growth and accountability, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates patient-care activities of assigned staff to provide quality nursing care. This is a PRN night-shift role in the Progressive Care Unit, with shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
• Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• BLS certification.
• PRN night-shift availability, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced certification in the specialty field, if applicable.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
