About The Position

Wellington Rehabilitation & Healthcare is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse Weekend Supervisor to lead nursing staff and support high-quality resident care. The supervisor oversees staffing, staff development, direct nursing care, resident assessments, treatment planning, compliance, recruitment and retention, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement. The role requires weekend availability and flexibility. Preceptor training must be completed or the employee must be willing to complete it after hire.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• At least 3 years of nursing experience; long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in nursing administration.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and decision-making skills.
• Compassion and dedication to providing superior resident care.
• Ability to work weekends with flexibility and adaptability.
• Completion of Preceptor Training, or willingness to complete it upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily staffing needs to ensure adequate coverage and quality resident care.
• Assist with ongoing staff education and training.
• Provide hands-on nursing care in accordance with residents’ individualized care plans.
• Conduct and document comprehensive resident evaluations upon admission and throughout their stay.
• Assist in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans and ensure adherence to resident rights and facility policies.
• Support recruitment and retention of skilled nursing professionals.
• Address resident and family concerns and handle grievances professionally and effectively.
• Implement ideas, improve processes, and support a positive, results-driven management team.
