About The Position

American Village is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to support residents on Saturdays and Sundays. The role focuses on building meaningful relationships with residents and staff, promoting residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being, and helping provide excellent senior care. The supervisor supports teamwork and collaboration across the care team, creates a comforting and engaging atmosphere, and contributes to a respectful, positive work environment.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Work with the team toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Manage medications, conduct thorough assessments, and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values when interacting with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
