About The Position

Administers nursing care for and treats patients in medical office, as directed by Physician, Advanced Clinical Provider or supervising clinical manager, by performing the following duties: Maintains patient confidentiality, Performs telephone triage, Taking complete, accurate messages from patients and relaying them to appropriate physician, Schedules, coordinates and reschedules all patient appointments (includes office, outpatient procedures, hospitals, and other medical facilities), Utilizes nursing process effectively in assessing patient needs and planning appropriate follow-up/intervention, Documents assessment and interventions thoroughly and concisely, Develops patient education materials, triage protocols, and clinical guidelines in collaboration with physicians, Uses computer system efficiently and accurately, Provides patient/staff education, Oversees LPN's and MA's, Performs specialty procedures as trained and as needed, as well as assisting M.D. with patients in office: IV therapy, IV/Blood product infusions, Chemotherapy, Cardiac stress tests. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

North Carolina or Compact RN license
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience in OB or Mother/Baby
