About The Position
NHC-White Oak Manor Charleston is seeking a dedicated and experienced Treatment Nurse to provide care to residents. The position is full-time and non-exempt, with a Monday–Friday first-shift schedule. The facility is located at 9285 Medical Plaza Drive in Charleston, South Carolina, on the HCA Trident Hospital campus near I-26 and University Avenue. The nurse communicates daily with CNAs, charge nurses, and supervisors about residents’ skin conditions, changes in treatment orders, and preventive skin-care needs. The nurse follows physician orders and provides ordered treatments for assigned units, including ointments and dressing changes.
Requirements
- Graduate of a state-approved school of Nursing.
- Current and active RN license in the state of residence.
- Be in good physical and mental health.
- Be kind, considerate, understanding, and enjoy working with elderly people.
- Possess the skills necessary to act as charge nurse or supervisor on a unit when assigned.
- Be able to work well with all levels of personnel.
Responsibilities
