About The Position
NHC-White Oak Manor Charleston is seeking a dedicated and experienced Treatment Nurse for a full-time, non-exempt position at its Charleston, South Carolina facility. The nurse carries out physician-ordered treatments for assigned units, including ointment application and dressing changes. The role communicates daily with CNAs, charge nurses, and supervisors about residents’ skin conditions, changes in treatment orders, and preventive skin-care needs. The position works Monday through Friday on the first shift.
Requirements
- Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing.
- Hold a current and active RN license in the state of residence.
- Be in good physical and mental health.
- Be kind, considerate, understanding, and enjoy working with elderly people.
- Possess the skills necessary to act as a charge nurse or supervisor on a unit when assigned.
- Work well with all levels of personnel.
Responsibilities
